Nairobi: The French Art of Reinventing Itself Without Truly Changing
The Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi marks the first Africa–France meeting to be held in an English-speaking country in more than fifty years. Beyond its symbolic significance, this repositioning reflects a broader reconfiguration of French diplomacy on the continent, driven by the need to replace military instruments that have lost legitimacy with economic levers.
